Price list
The offer you receive from us includes the starting cost, printing cost and, if necessary, the cost of archiving/e-publishing in DiVA.
1) Starting cost, SEK 6,850 (excluding printing cost)
You will be assisted with the administrative, technical and graphic work needed for your thesis to be printed and delivered on time. Among other things, we will:
- prepare files for printing,
- design your cover according to your wishes and guidelines,
- book and manage contact with the printing office in accordance with the applicable framework agreement.
A PDF proof is included. The price applies to all types of theses.
2) Printing cost
Your thesis is printed by a commercial printer under the University’s framework agreement.
3) Archiving/e-publishing in DiVA, SEK 4,000
E-publishing of the summary (“kappan”) is mandatory for compilation theses in accordance with the Vice-Chancellor’s decision (link to decision in Swedish).
Doctoral thesis, Disciplinary Domain of Humanities and Social Sciences is billed semi-annually for each faculty: SEK 4,000 per thesis. (Not included in the bid)
Digital long-term archiving in DiVA is mandatory for all doctoral theses in the humanities and social sciences faculties (link to decision)., Link to documentation (in Swedish).

Cost of colour pages: Number of colour pages x SEK 1 x number of books = cost of the colour pages alone. Please note that prices are approximate.

Additional costs
Formatting of text according to the template, SEK 850/hour
If you are unable or don’t have the time to use the thesis template, we can do it for you. Please contact us in ample time before your submission so that we can set aside time and so that you can adjust your schedule accordingly.
Editing of images and tables, SEK 120/each
If you want help editing images or formatting your tables, we can assist you if time permits. Please contact us in ample time before your submission so that we can set aside time and so that you can adjust your schedule.
Rush charge, SEK 1,000/day
If you don't submit your thesis according to the schedule we have set up for you, we cannot plan our work effectively, and a rush charge will be added. We will also be unable to guarantee delivery in time for posting.
If the thesis is not approved for printing in time, then the printer can also levy a rush charge.
