The University Library has extensive collections of old and modern maps and atlases. The map collections are mainly held by the Section for Maps and Pictures at Carolina Rediviva and in the Earth Sciences Library.

Parts of the map collections can be found in Uppsala University Library Catalogue, in Catalogue 1962 and in the Swedish library catalogue LIBRIS. In addition there are also published and unpublished special catalogues that can be used in the Library itself. Contact the Earth Sciences Library or the Section for Maps and Prints if you can't find the map you need.

• Historical maps
  Contains Swedish maps from the Swedish Geographical Survey Office Archive (RAK), Land Survey Board Archive (LMS) and the Regional Archive. Generally the maps from the years 1628-1927 are available on the Internet. 
• National Atlas of Sweden
