Problems with logging in?

Are you having problems logging into Samsök from outside the University's network? If so you may need to change your settings for cookies.

If you use MS Internet Explorer as your browser, your problems with Samsök might be because cookies from a third party are being rejected. Have you received this error message in Samsök saying that your cookie settings must be changed?

Problem with Cookies

This is what to do

  1. Click on Tools in the taskbar on your browser
  2. Select Internet Options
  3. Select the tab Privacy
  4. Click on the Advanced button


     
  5. Tick Override automatic cookie handling and select Accept cookies from both first and third parties. Alternatively, you can select Prompt instead. In this case you will be asked whether you are prepared to accept cookies every time you open the page and can make your choice at that point, to actively choose them or not.

  6. Restart the Samsök page
