Earth Sciences Library's map collection

The Earth Sciences Library has an extensive map collection with includes modern Swedish maps as well as maps from many parts of the world.

Maps have been collected over the years for teaching and research. Our collection includes map series starting in the 17th century, for example economic, geological and topographical maps. The Earth Sciences Library also holds a collection of aerial photographs for teaching and research.

Over the years the maps have been catalogued in various ways. Nowadays they are registered in the Uppsala University Library Catalogue and in the Swedish national library catalogue LIBRIS

Do contact the staff if you are unable to find maps.
