This is a collection of books that either belonged to or were used by Nicolaus Copernicus. Proof of their provenance is in the notes of ownership and the comments written in his own hand.

From Copernicus' own library
Parts of Nicolaus Copernicus' (1473-1543) library were moved after his death to the Cathedral Library in Frombork/Frauenburg in what is today Poland. The books in this library were later taken by Swedes as war booty during the Thirty Years' War. It has been a well known fact for a long time that the majority of what remains of Copernicus' library is held at the Uppsala University Library. There is a comprehensive and scholarly description of the collection, which consists of 45 volumes. In addition there are two volumes in the Astronomic Observatory's library, three in the Cathedral Library in Strängnäs, one in the Cathedral Library in Linköping and one in the National Library of Sweden.
If you want to know more about the Copernicus Collection we can recommend Pawel Czartoryski's paper (see the reading list). It includes an extensive bibliography for further studies and research.
